Epic cores cost three times as much as common cores to upgrade and have triple the value. Rare cores cost twice as much as common cores to upgrade and also have double the value. A common MK 1 core is defined as having a value of 1 unit which is used as the baseline. Since Core Bundles are still pretty new, it's unclear how frequently these cores will appear.
